do you know for sure superduty springs will fit? you need about 57 inches eye to eye for them to work. and those spring look like they will ride stiiiiif....not to mention youl have way to much lift. if you wanna clear those 42's with no cutting , then all you need is about 9 inches....
Yes, the sawzall calls to me in the night. I actually went out and bought the sheet metal tool for my air hammer, I think RLH suggested it but I'm just not convinced I want to chop it up. I'm thinking if I can lift enough to clear these and I decide to go bigger down the road I can just trim 2" off the fenders and I'll be ready to roll.
Crap, you're right. The SD rears are 56" but the fronts are only 51". I was looking at the wrong measurements. What brand springs are you throwing up front and what did they cost you? I'm definitely doing the shackle flip in the rear but not sure if I'll also need to buy new rear springs or not.
42's that are 14 not bad im pretty sure with my 9 inches of lift they will fit.And i like that fact that there not to wide so the cops dont pull me over.if not those ill go with 44's but then i guess i will have to hack the fenders so we will see.
let me just add a thing or two here....the width that is posted is the tread width! i have 13.5's but the actual tire is 14.5" and the trwad width is 11" across. with the 42's the tread width is 15" which means the actual tire will be about 16-17 or so.....therefore you may still rub!
and yes the D60 swap is easy as hell! Ho and I did mine one afternoon!

I don't get the width on the Interco tires. If the 13.5 on your tire is the tread width then why are yours only measuring 11"? Interco lists a tire width and seperately lists tread width. The STS are listed at 21" wide with a tread width of 15.5. I've seen them before and the tread is definitely not 21" across, though the tire has some serious side bulge that would contribute to the total width.
I'm going to go ahead with the 42s because everything I hear about the IROKs is good. I love the way they look too. Wouldn't be able to sleep at night if my tires weren't just a little bigger than Jasons.
I heard mid April. Their site still says the radials are "coming this spring" but NTW has them for sale . . . though I haven't called to ask if they're in stock.
Yea, their sight is the last place you want to go for updates. The tingleing in my left leg tells me that they will be available in around a month, if not sooner. Interco is really pushing for their iroks. Got the rags pimping them like hell...
