Power Steering Pump

I'm plain getting tired of the arnstrong steering on my 71 F250 4x4. I'm gathering pieces to do the conversion. Which pump should I be using? I got a hold of a pump that is from a later year truck (I believe late 70's) with a plastic reservoir with large fill hole. Just seems weak because of it's size and being plastic. I've seen the GM looking power steering pumps being used and I've seen the large "round" Ford pumps. I'd rather use a pump with a large fill to eliminate having to use a funnel. But, hey, I'll use what is more reliable. Also, did Ford make an adjustable drag link? Since using a 78-79 box uses a different configured pitman arm, the drak link ends will need to be "rotated". This would be way easier with an adjustable drag link.

I used the old style pump (small fill hole). I heard that different pumps deliever different amounts of pressure. Something to keep in mind.

I cut my drag link, positioned the ball joints at the proper angles. Then used BOM tube and a wirefeed to put it all back together.
