Anyone replace a power trailertow mirror?
Some yahoo smashed my driver side power trailertow mirror the other night. Tore off the convex and the main mirror.
I am just wondering if anyone has any tips on replacing it. Its bad enough it priced out at $240 Can. I will replace it myself but I don't know what to expect with the wiring for the mirror.
Any suggestions?

Did mine in Early December same thing happened to me some a hole hit it while it was parked. Bought the new mirror from a Ford dealer in TX for $144.00. Took about half hour to change.

Wll I checked ebay and there was a new mirror but it was manual adjust.
I did get a better price from a dealer here ($190 Can.) so I ordered it up and will replace it tomorrow.

Only thing that concerns me with Ebay is the insurance. What happens if you open the box and your mirror is cracked. Double check that fact with who your buying from. Make sure the seller is covering the products for the value they are worth. UPS usually does a flat $100 for damaged products. The seller needs to buy more insurance if the value is higher.
