New Guy saying hello!
Well I just wanted to say Hello. I just purchased a 2001 F-150, with 33000 miles on it. I think I got a pretty good deal, but it is too late worry about that because the car is MINE now no matter what, right?
I am also the proud owner of a 1966 mustang coupe that just went from being a daily driver to a weekend warrior!
I know that I will be posting here alot in regards to any problems that I have with my new truck. If there is anything I can do for anyone else, just let me know!!
Let me start by asking a question that I am sure people ask alot, What is the average MPG and what is the best way to increase it? Thanks I look forward to meeting some great folks!!

The average gas milage is anywhere from 12-18 miles to the gallon depending on driving conditions and rear end gear ratio and the type of engine you have.
About how to increase the mileage you can search the forums on how to do this, it is a big topic.

Your truck sounds a lot like mine.
Mine averages 13.5 to 14 in the summer and 12 to 13 in the winter unless I am towing about 5500 lbs, then it drops to 11mpg.

PS, A buddy of mine that I grew up with has a 68 Mustang GT. It has the 302 4V too.
Well, it is storage, right now it has a 408 Windsor in it. It is also a fastback, but he hasn't done anything to ruin it so that it can't be returned to stock. It was a turquois blue originally, now it is black with black interior and it is straight as an arrow. SWEEEEET
