SD Power Stroke Engine Block Heater

My Invoce Said I Have A Engine Block Heater. I Looked All over the engine compartment. For the Plug . I Can't Find It . Does Anyone Know Were its at?

Looking at the right tow hook from the front, it is wire tied to the frame rail. Black wire and plug.

SD Power Stroke Engine Block Heater

mmusky1, I wrote you A response but did not post it. I will go through my answer again so it can be posted. I have an early 99 F-250, and my plug for the htr. is on the right lower portion of the grill behind A vertical part of the grill. The way I go about pluging mine in is I reach with my left hand to the left of the vertical portion and get hold of the plug, then I place my right hand to the right of the vertical and remove the plug cover, and while still hanging on with my left hand I take the ext. cord and connect the two with my right hand. I do with the ext. cord not plugged in to the outlet because there may be arcing and I prefer to arc the outlet rather than my block-heater plug!! I hope this helps!
