V-10 power differences-

In 1999, the 415 cid V-10 had 275 HP, 410 ft. lbs. torque. In 2000, it was factory rated at 310 HP, 425 ft. lbs of torque, in Super Duty/Excursion form. Can anyone tell me what the changes were, and if it is possible to update a 99 spec engine to reflect the higher output of the later model? Is it computer, cams, injectors, throttle body?????????????
Thanks in advance-

My understanding is that Ford changed the cam profiles, valve angles and intake manifold design to add the extra power. You'd be looking at replacing some expensive parts. You're prolly better off going the aftermarket route(headers, cat-back, air filter, chip)

Thanks- I was hoping to pick up the extra power with just a radiator cap change or something.....
