wiring backup lights
Anyone have any suggestions on how to redo the reverse lights at the back? Here's the background. I found out that the reverse indicator lights don't work on the truck.
I don't believe that the lights were hooked up again after the previous owner converted the truck from a column shifter to a floor shifter. There doesn't seem to be a provision for putting on a switch for the light on the shifter (its an Indy shifter - been told it was for cars) It looks like I will have to mount the switch in the cab else the switch might fry after it gets wet a few times.
Has anyone had to deal with this problem? No one I have talked to can give me a decent answer.

The truck is a 78 F100
