Does anyone know where i can find a replacement tailgate for my 99' F-250? i went to the dealer and asked for prices and they want like $600 painted. i considered one of those flow through tailgates like used for goosenecks but i kinda wanted the factory look with out the outrageouse factory price. thanks

You might want to try calling a place near you that builds custom utility beds. Most of the time truck owners don't want the old beds so, they're happy to sell them to anyone that will take them. I've heard of people buying a whole bed with the tailgate for under $1000 and with any luck you'll be able to find one that's your color.

The SuperDuties use the same TailGate as the F-150's, so the availability should not be a problem.
