The eBay ones seem to have dried up, that is where I got mine for about $80 already color matched. The dealer should have them at about $150. Get a good stool or something to stand on, and do not do this on a windy day. The template for drilling the holes is EXACT. The slightest millimeter off and you will have to compensate the hole size for the bolts to match. If you get past drilling the holes properly, the whole install is about 30min. Bring a friend.
Just make sure your template matches the deflector (set the template on the deflector first). IDGCorp is correct, a little off and it becomes a pain.
The template paper and absorb moisture and expand while the deflector material has a tendency to shrink. Just make sure the two match up and you will be fine.
Also, make sure you use some touch up paint around the drilled holes to prevent rust and get a little extra 'string goop' (the 'kit' supplies some bituimous (sp?) thread that you wrap around the fasteners to prevent moisture penetration.
Do it once, do it right. (Hey that ought to be in my sig)
Aside from looks, do the Ford rear window deflectors actually work to keep dust off the rear window? If it does, does it work at fairly low speed? In the boondocks it's sometimes a pain to get out in the cactus or the mud to clear the rear window so I can see well enough to back up to turn around place.
Yes the ford ones work. I have one on my expy and can tell the difference. Good thing about the ford ones is they come color specfic. You order by the paint code. I got one for $120.
