It is truely sad. It seems thier goal is to wipe us out. This they can never accomplish because they do not have the technology or the strength to be able to. And we don't have the resolve to wage a 'holy war' on their terms. So I do not see an end to this situation.
I gotta agree, 76. I have yet to hear any Islamic leader condemn those actions.

In the town where I used to live (we actually lived on a military base) there were several muslim owned business. One was just outside the front gate. Like any business open late at night, they had security cameras. Unfortunately, one of those cameras was trained not on the store, but on the front gate of the base. It was an accident, they said. Accident my donkey. I think they did it on purpose.

Jihad means is a collective effort to expand the territories ruled by Muslims at the expense of territories ruled by non-Muslims. No country (or people) is exempt from this policy. So, why do they attack (terrorize) Afghanistan or Algeria for example? Are they not also Islamic in reference? Yes, but it goes back to what I said earlier: Islam is not what it once was. The jihad takes precedence in these countries over the old Islamic faith because most of the Muslims in the above countries do not hold to the radical interpretation of the faith and are considered infidels, rolled up into a wad with “evildoers” like us (Americans). Of course we can’t see the guts of it unless we step inside. Many people are afraid to do that and remain ignorant and silent, much like a murder witness in the “slums”.
With 1400 years of experience on how to justify their actions, they have successfully fooled many people into thinking they only fight defensively and are bettering the world with jihad. And, believe it or not, some non-Muslims have opted to believe that.
Now, back to the problem here in the States. Would a full-scale roundup of Muslims remedy our situation? I think not. Muslims killing Muslims is world-wide. Even though the “faith” of Islam is used in jihad, some Muslims literally hate the association and would rather die than join. So how would an internment help? It wouldn’t.
To help some understand the “feelings” of jihad, I will, personally (not to be referenced from my religion – please) say this: It is likened to a Christian that is required to “kill (crucify, slay, destroy) the flesh daily” in order to attain a more spiritual life. So Islam teaches (or once did) that jihad is the struggle of one’s self against evil – an inward holy war. That is simply not the case now – even though some Muslims still value that teaching, but are killed for doing so.
