I just picked up a 77 f150. The guy says it has a 360 in it, but every place I look says that a 360 wasn't offered in 77. If it was swapped, will the tune up parts from any year 360 work? It also has a 4-spd and I can't get much more than walking speed in first gear, is this normal?
Yep, that would be normal for the 4 speed. You might as well drive it like a 3 speed unless you are climbing a hill.
As far as the part's go there should be a serial # on the block, find it and post it someone will tell you what year the motor is. Basic tuneup part's and the like's are all pretty much the same.
