Question A surge of power??

Hey guys,

Ive been trying to figure a problem ive noticed for a while now..

Here it is.. Im going on down the highway.. 4th gear, (the mazda 5spd) around.. i think 120km\hr, (speedo hasnt worked in the 7yrs ive owend it) at around 2500-2750rpm. And.. its goes ok, if i wanna pass its there.. but sometimes ill noticed a surge of power. Ya i know the stock 302 only does 185, and with chip, exhasut, headers.. im just up over 200, maybe but it will puch me back in the seat. I really feel a surge. Any ideas, or comments?

Like i said, 302, 5spd.. 4.56 gear ratio f/r , 35's. Im going to change my plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil later on today. but other then that.. im stumped.

Thanks

Did you forget about that Nitrous bottle again? Sounds interesting, maybe you'll find out when you do a tune up??

Hey guys.

Heh.. no, i took the NOS off last week.. was finiding it to hard on the clutch I didnt think to check codes, never even thought of that. But i did do hwat i said i was gonna, plugs all looked ok, brown, nothing out of the normal. new wires, coil, cap/rotor. The old cap/rotor looked alil worse for wear. Im leaning towards that, but not to sure. I still feel it a bit, so ill grab the codes on my next days off.

Thanks for the suggestions.
