check the auto parts store, the should be able to get a rebuilt. look for the little salvage yards on the back roads, they sometimes still have old stuff. where are you located, that would let people who are close to you know if they could help.

I found 2. Well 1.5 anyway.
One of em was on my 223 and I found a Holly on a slant 6 that didnt need it. So it was working. The "other one" has some good
stuff that will be needed, Choke.
Kits are around for these carbs.
Now what ?

Hi, Ken! I was able to find a 223 carb but now the search is on foe a linkage rod that connects the carburetor to the manifold. There is currently a spring that links the two which makes shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear a little interesting. Actually, it feels more like shifting from 2nd to 5th in a more modern vehicle. I presume that this is because the carb isn't getting enough fuel but then again, I may be entirely wrong!
