5.4 chip
will it be worth me putting a chip in my 2000 f250 5.4 ,auto i tow a boat in the summer trailer&boat about 4,000lb. + tired of it always down shifting out of overdrive when i go up a slight upgrade. any imput will help.

A Diablo chip will help. The F250 is too large for a 5.4 and the Diablo can be programmed with a very good tune for it. Shifting should improvement tremendously also. Just don't expect a miracle with power because its a very heavy truck.

ok ken , let me check out the pumps around here.want to see if i can get 93and are you running any special.and do i just go to motorhaven.i have read alot about the diablo chip.from what i read you are the one i want to tune it let me know when you are ready thanks mark.
