On my way into work today, my red brake idiot light and the rear antilock lights came on. I still had brakes and got to work OK. I just went out to check the fluid level and found that it was full.
Not being familiar with Ford braking systems, is there a sensor that picks up when the pads are worn beyond a set point or measures some other parameter? I'll be pulling the wheels off this weekend, but just wondered what triggered the lights.
