Adding Keyless Entry

I was wondering if anyone has any experience adding remote keyless entry to a '97 E-350 XLT or similar. Keyless entry is one of the options it didn't have and we'd like to add it. Would it be possible to install the factory keyless entry setup? If so, would it be easier than adding an aftermarket system?

Thanks,
Isaac

Cool

I think you'll find that most aftermarket car stereo places haveand install aftermarket keyless entry units, I had it put on my '94 F150 and it works great, they can hook it up so your lights flash, horn honks, and interior lights come on for a specified amount of time.
They said Fords are the easiest to add aftermarket keyless entry to.
Mine was about $70.00 installed with all the bells and whistles!
