Check this out, http://www.seffects.com/catalog/prod...dies&type_id=3 read where it says "increases gas mileage up to 5 miles per gallon" I want 1 piece of solid evidence that putting this piece of metal on any car would increase the gas mileage that much....Man, how can companies make claims like that. I'd like to see how it really works
yeah, good point, but my point is that i doubt that thing could make it produce up to even a 2mpg increase. I wonder how many people buy those things thinkin their gas mileage is going to go from 15 to 20 mpg? Is there any physical way that that thing would give you another 5 mpg?
Those things are just as dumb as those tornado fuel savers. On their commercials they show a guy spinning two 2 liters that are connected and filled with water which makes a vortex in the bottle. Since when does my truck run on two 2 liter bottles filled with water. That thing might swirl the air but by the time the air gets in the combustion chamber its moving the same way it would be without the spacer. Do I hear snake oil?
I'll second the snake oil motion. Swirling the air would actually inhibit fuel atomization. Have you ever noticed that when something is swirling, all the particle move toward the middle? In practice what that would actually do is make a highly dense gas stream surrounded by non-saturated air. But that $89 you would pay for it would sure make you want to believe it's helping out your power and mileage, eh?
