I posted the same question and the responces I got were mostly twards the afe intake system. do a search on the topic and you will find a post i did and the responces. I am going to be getting the afe soon it's your choice which one you choose
I have an AFE and like the way it fit into the original location and the increase in airflow is great, I also have a 4" exhaust and the edge attitude (wow). I recomend all of the above my friend with a Duramax and all the same equipment cannot keep up(not even close)
Sweeeet!! I have a friend that owns an Exhaust shop that is going to hook me up with a Turbo Back 4" for my truck. The chip is going to come later this year. Either that, or the Predator programmer.

Check into getting rid of the cat also as it realy restricts things and gets hotttttt!!!!!! the edge module is a great system if I were you I would call around and talk with shops that use or install both and ask them witch they prefer I did this and hands down they recomend the juice (I'm sure that the preditor is a great unit)but it will not monitor your temps and boost or detune at high egt's Good luck!!!
1. It is the only one I could verify that an independent testing lab had tested and certified that it it is superior to the factory air cleaner in filtration.
2. It is as large as the stock air cleaner.
3. It includes a larger smooth inlet/mass air meter for improved air flow.
4. It is washable and reusable.
5. The stock ford air cleaner minder plugs into it.
6. It includes it's cold air box.
When I started the truck after installation, I could immediately tell the difference. I would guess about 20 HP

I've been coming back to that Air Raid intake for a while now. I like the way it looks and the way it functions. I'm prolly going to go with it.
How are you liking yours, Tim? I'm diggin' that Ram Air mod that you did too! Was it pretty easy to accomplish? Did it require much cutting or anything?
I haven't heard much out of Ford about the air filter. I don't know who actually makes it. I understand it was developed for use by the military in the early 90's Desert Storm. Since turbos are sensitive to "dusting" and in normal use this filter should go 50K or more miles, I'll stick with the current filter until I see some independent info that says something is better.
Now if I could mod this setup so that this filter gets a better flow of air.....
