I was using the AFE, but went back to stock. I was concerned
about dust getting thru to the turbo. I did not notice any
mpg improvement or throttle respone at all. If I do any other
mods; chip, exhaust, then I might go with the AFE Pro Guard 7.

Exactly! It only counts if I can feel the difference! And also if it helps me beat a Hemi and Adams now and again!

I wonder how much faster it will be with propane injection?

I saw some hubcaps at Walmart with propellers on them. Do you think they will make a truck really fly?

There has to be a first time for there to be AGAIN... big boy

I guess I have to even the playing field next time and not run in 4x4 :-)

And the other tricks I used...
1/4 tank of fuel and 16 OZ of cetane booster...
and then there's the turbo back that you haven't installed yet...

but you do have an intake where I don't ...

And HOPE your reaction times are better than mine since you do have a dragster

Let's go have fun again !

Ennis this time ??? or back out to Redline dragstrip ?

My hard time is wheel spin off the line. I have to work on it until I find the quickest method.

Part of the trouble was the water in the burn out box. We had to drive through it. We don't burn out street tires because heat makes them loose traction. Normal driving temp gives ideal traction. With my tires wet, I never could hook up. 4 wheel drive really helps as John can testify. At Ennis, we can drive around the water. I'm also looking for some better tires.

Did u get your exhaust yet ?
u get the exhaust...

Need to sell my 5.9 K&N FIPK so I can get one for the 6-oh...
I get the intake...

then were comparing apples to apples when I leave in 4x2 @ Ennis...

I just got back. I get to go back Thursday.
You should race your truck the way it is the fastest, in 4WD. It gives me a hard goal, beating you!
I still have the stock exhaust. I probably will for a while. I just haven't had the time to mess with it.
