1969 ranger explorer paint
i have a 1969 Ford Ranger Explorer that my grandpa bought new, in 1997 my dad borowed it and the gas line got a leak and burned the engine. it warped the hood so we got another one that was blue. we want to paint the whole truck back in the original color, but we can't find the right color. the paint code is "D" and it is called Arizona Sunset Gold. i have been told that this paint was only used in 1969, and that there are three colors with the code "D". this is the yellow color of code "D". if you can tell me where to get this paint please reply to this message.

I don't know about the term *Arizona Sunset Gold*
But I know there is a *Sunlit Gold* because that is what my 68 Mustang is painted.
Are sure it might be *Tuscon Gold* (Ditzler code 2104)?
Tuscon is in Arizona.
Look for it in my user gallery.
Meanwhile I'll try to track it down.
Any good Bodyshop supply shops will have all the codes for DuPont paint back then.
But I know there is a *Sunlit Gold* because that is what my 68 Mustang is painted.
