front axle id (please)

I just bought this truck a week ago and want to do some up-grades. I need to know what the front end is, here is the #

3 54 E3TA AMC
6101995

ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT

Looks like a 3.54 ratio open diff to me. Not sure on the axle itself though. Is it solid or a ttb?

Thanks "8 lugs" as you can see i was getting several diffrent answers for the same question. But I guess that is what this is all about.

some of the reason for different ansers is ford sometimes reused codes and you didn't say what year ranges to look it up as.
