351 Windsor Question

Hello:

I'm wanting to build up a 351 Windsor and I don't even know if I'm in the right forum. If I'm not tell which one I should go to. I also wanted to know which ford models the 351 could easily fit into.

The motor Is a core and is not in anything.

Thanks

I know the 1980-96 F150's and Broncos had the option of the 351W, and it will also fit if they had a 302 without too much work. It would help to know what the donor vehicle of your 351W block was, whether a car or truck. Some differences exist in the parts you want to put together depending on what it's going in, I assume a Ford pick-up?

Yep

I do not have a vehicle to put the engine into as of yet. I'm going to be putting it into an F250 pickup. The whole reason to find one and rebuild it is because it will be used for lawnservice during the summer and a snow plow in the winter.

The 250 had the 351 in some models, they also used the 460. It would be good to find out witch motor was in it for your mounts and bellhousing.
