Have you exhausted all the possible combinations of hitch and hitch pin box adjustments? If not, take it to either a hitch or RV dealer and ask them to level it out. Lowering the truck itself should be your last ditch option. It's expensive and alters towing geometry. Hope this helps.

By all means check your dealer about lowering the rear end for pulling your trailer. Do this FIRST. Fords changover meant replacing the 4" blocks with 2" blocks, replacing the brake lines and installing shorter shocks. During mid 2000, they discontinued the 4" blocks, 1) trailer concerns, and 2) too damn tall to be getting in and out of all day without adding steps or boards.
