And what a pain in the **** to be behind those two! I give truckers all due respect; give them plenty of room and give them a "come on back in lane" signal of headlights off-on-off-on at night, but man, when you get two clowns with 1 or 2 mph difference blocking both lanes (ALL of PA's highways seem to be 2 lanes), it gets old real quick. Especially when the incline/decline situation plays out for 10 miles!

Overall, you guys do a great job and I salute you, but this kind of stuff is irritating to say the least.

Right you are...

I agree donsFx4, it can be a real pain in the donkey. Especially when you're running east at sunset, behind a shiney hiney. Loved the scenery running PA out of Moosic, but those hair pin turns and dog legs scared the bejeebers out of me. Snowshoe was always a thrill in winter...if it was clean and dry on one side of the hill, it was black ice on the other...had to replace seat once, butt cheeks took a bite out of it. There's also another scenario...Many times truckers are radio'd by the state police and asked to provide a 'rolling road block' so they can catch up to a speeding drunk driver, or someone fleeing a crime. I've done this several times in my 33 years. Or....just another trashy truck driver trying to play peek-a-boo with a female driver...LOL

The closest thing I could give you to a legit answer on this is remember trucks are governed, and are pulling alot of weight, and wind resistance, so when passing they wait to the last minute to get out into the other lane so as not to be in the left lane any longer than neccessary (although personally I will wait an extra minute so as not to slow down faster traffic if they are passing or coming up) then as they start to pass another truck the wind coming off the front of that truck will slow them down as they pass (think about how it pulls on your car as you are passing then multiply by 10) if they do it just as you come up they are bieng lazy or discourtious or they don't have a choice do to lots of traffic, maybe its legit maybe not you decide, personally if I am being the one passed and I have the cruise set, and the passing truck is having lots of trouble completing the pass I will back off enough to let him around if we are in some traffic.
