I got my hands on one of these. I wanted to collectively gather your more experienced thoughts on these boost chips. I wouldn't put it on until I put my exhaust on. What do you think? Thanks!
I'm not exactly sure, that's why I started the thread. It was for sale on Ebay so I wanted to look into it. They claimed it would raise the boost levels a little bit. But I would imagine no more than what a Diablo or Superchips tuner would do. Perhaps one of the guru's could chime in....
Nah, I decided to pass on it due to lack of knowledge. I ended up buying a 80hp Superchip tuner for $200. It was on Ebay, I searched under "Powerstroke". Perhaps we'll come across it again.

Can you post a link to the e-bay sale? perhaps if we could look at it we could be more helpfull
Just looked at the link to the ebay auction. From the large picuture I made out the website for the product in question. shiftyperformance.com. Dont wast your money. You probably get more from unplugging your wastegate than this product gives you.
LuLu - It's a good thing you passed!! You can do the same thing for free by unpluging the red line from the wastegate actuator and plugging it. I never heard of such a thing but someone's trying to make a quick buck. Anyway - Hope the Superchip does good for ya!
So you used to live in Chester Springs huh? No kidding? Yea the weather wasn't real great here today - cold and WINDY and supposed to be down to 20* tonight! So much for Spring!
