chip, intake, and exhaust!

Hey,

I have thought about putting a stage 2 diablo chip in my truck for quite some time! The more I research it the more my opinion changes!

I have heard that a chip shortens the life of your engine ... is this true?

Does anybody have this chip? If so how do you like it and what other mods do you have?

Thanks
kman

Alot of the guys have the chip. And I really dont see how it could be shortening the life of the engine, and if it does, it will not be a censequential amount maybe a few thousand, 10-15 at most out of 200k or some such.

Hey true4.2 how much faster did those parts make your truck? I love my 4.2. It drives super smooth. I just got rid of my 2001 ranger 4.0. I just read a forum about them being dogs. My 4.0 would smoke the tires forever. It was alot quicker than my f-150 4.2 off the start. I actually drive slow I don't beat on my truck at all. But I want some good perormance and better gas mileage!
