I run the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. Great bulbs! They are the super whites, not the blues though. Most everyone I know has run into problems with the blue bulbs - from them not working at all to blowing frequently...
I have used the Sylvania Cool Blue's for about 6 months and they are great. For $18.00 at WalMart, I now have much brighter than stock lighting and no problems with them whatsoever. You could go ahead and pay $25.00 each for Silverstars but I don't see that they are that much of a difference.

A bad ground forces the juice thru both Elements causing a High Resistace condition and on other FORDS I have had, it found a ground thru the hi-beam indicator on the dash. Weird
The Silverstars are brighter than stock, and are not the 'blue color'. They are more a cool white than blue, but you can really see a difference with them...
I paid $17.00 a piece for the ones I have at Auto Zone...
