Question Fastest speed you've gone in a car/truck/motocycle?

Whats the fastest speed y'all have ever been at?? For me it was 135 - 140 mph in our Thunderbird. Did it about 3 A.M. on a long, extremely straight, extremely desolate stretch of road. What a freaking rush!! I was jittery for a while after I did that. . .I think the T-Bird is OFFICALLY broken in now!

110 mph - 1970 Chevelle
107 mph - 1993 Cougar (not a good feeling in this car at that speed)

For my '88 Grand Marquis and my '86 F-150? Well, their not meant to be fast so I don't drive 'em fast.

145 in a 74 Camaro, what a ride (7 miles of straight flat, no traffic road) or 130 in 76 3/4 pickup, not as fun as the Camaro, but still a rush

Spedometer only went to 80 mph. 23 mile trip in 10 minutes 33 seconds (131mph). Buddy bet me I couldn't get home within 15 minutes.

Never could get above 100mph on a bike. Just something about my life and 2 wheels.

147 in a SS 396 Chevelle--speedo broken, but the cop informed me of the speed when he gave me the ticket. Good guy--only wrote it for 75mph, back in the early seventies when they were a little bit more lenient.

105ish in my 00 Celica gt-s. It was a nice, wide stretch of highway and that's what the flow of traffic was.
65 in my '70 F-100. It's got the power for more, but geared for hauling so that's the fastest I'll spin up the engine.

goin over a big bridge (driscoll bridge) on the parkway, speed is 65 then 40 on bridge. at the crest of the bridge i was doing about 110 then i think i glanced at the speedo and it read something like 130 on the way down the bridge, in my dads new nissan altima. it was at something like 3 am and the bridge is at least 5 lanes wide for each way with no cars in sight... that only happened once... stupid stupid stupid...

i gota agree with you there, i had a 95 bronc w/351, cat back duals and a k&n and that thing was a pig. it some times would not get out of second gear in a head wind while pulling my boat. so to go 145 it must have like 500-700 hp, or mabe its jet powered- a rocket bronco...and 225 in a caddy, he must drive for the I.M.S.A. caddy race team.
