Please explain the a-plan!!!
The A-Plan is usually associated with someone that is a Ford Employee. It is a fabulous opportunity and we have bought 3 vehicles in the last 3 years using the A-plan. It is a non-negotiable price that the dealer has to sell the vehicle to you at. This is only on new vehicles and I just ordered a new truck that I will be using the A-plan to purchase. the dealer will give you the exact A-plan price if you inquire about a vehicle but I have found a way to get a ball park idea of what the A-plan price will be, I'm usually just a couple hundred dollars off, so always have the dealer give you the actual A-plan price. Anyway, here it is, take the MSRP and discount it by 15.5%, this will give you an approximate A-plan price. I built my truck on www.fordvehicles.com with several different configurations and then just took the MSRP and discounted it 15.5% to get an idea of how much I would be paying for each type of truck. For example, a truck with an MSRP of 38,000 dollars. 38,000 times .155 (15.5%)=5890. So subtract 5890 from 38000 and expect to pay about 32,110 for the truck. And here is the beauty of it all, you are still entitled to any rebates/financing that is going on. Hope this helps...Deac
My wife has worked for Ford for the last three years and we have routinely been trading in our cars about every year or so. With the discount you get from the A Plan, plus any additional rebates etc... you tend to pretty much always break even.
Good Luck on your search for a new ford.
