its a ford site so i think your expecting a yes to your question.
but i have never had a problem with a chevy... well havent owned one yet. as for chrysler i had a 95 plymouth voyager 3.0L v6. my parents gave it to me. when i got it it was on its 2nd trans and had around 110000 miles on her. well then i blew the trans and some young girl hit me doing 45 and screwd the front passenger side up. i fixed it and gave it to my brother. then mom and dad went out a bought me my 96 ranger as a graduation present. but that van still runs good. its looking like it needs a nother trans. but its still a soild van.

Camaro's are alright, they aren't overated in my opinion. I'd like to have one eventually....after i've had a good 60s stang for awhile. www.f-bodyhideout.com is good if you can download videos quickly. Those cats got some bad 'maros. -William
If Camaros are overated, then that makes the mustang WAY overated. Let's not forget the famous "muscort" of the 1980's. So, if we are going to strictly compare pony cars relatively, then no, the camaro isn't overated.
i will agree that the 80's mustangs werent very pretty and i do like the old camaros but you see way too many new ones
chevy does need to upgrade some of there engines... i guess if you buy the right ones its good but comparitivly i think fords engines in their cars have more power for the size of the engine
I don't know about overrated, but I never liked the way the floorpan felt on the passengers side. Always lumpy and curved to make for something under there. My friend had one and it wasn't bad, just didn't like that.
What's wrong w/ pushrods? I love 'em. Give me pushrods over them overhead cams any day. I have personally seen many 350 chevy's with over 250k and there wasn't any problem with any of them. Not trying to start a fight but why fix something when it ain't broke.
"chevy does need to upgrade some of there engines..."
The Ford V8s for the past 6-7 years have been nothing to be too proud of. Until they finally started producing the 3-4 valve heads they where pretty much the lower end of the spectrum - especially when one considers they are using the "latest" technology in their design.

My Olds 350 has somewhere around that many miles - it outlived the speedo cable and the only person who knows how long it was broken before I got it isn't around anymore. Of course, it's been awhile since Olds engines were made I think.

Im quite sure they'll be back.
I dont think Camaros are overrated... I think its 99% of the owners
Ive had a ton of camaro's want to race my old truck w/o even asking whats under the hood... just say "that thing is old and primered with some wheels, I can beat it anyday"
and then I blow their doors off..
And I have a mostly stock 390... Just think the owners think they are untouchable w/ the name
If GM was so much worse then Ford, then GM would shortly go out of business. There are certain things I can not stand on GMs and certain things that can be annoying on Fords.
1981- mid 90s Chevies are known for bad computer problems, most of it front wheel drive cars that blow EPROMS to the tune of $100s.
If you have an ECC-IV system, especially a Ranger or BII, you know you have to replace your TFI module on a regular basis.
Which one would I rather suffer with ... the Ford. It costs $30 and you can repalce it, with practice, in 15 minutes, plus you can buy them with a lifetime warranty. Plus, it usually gives signs it is dying and willnot leave you totally stuck because the vehicle will usually start after it cools down some, unless you ignore it for a month.
I can usually tell a Ford is coming down the road by its whining power steering pump. GM power steering is pretty good.
I would love a old Chevy Blazer 4x4, I would not like a new IFS Chevy.
People sure think names on vehicles mean a lot. Hemi,Camaro, Mustang, Cummins, the list goes on. It is like when you have that name youc can beat everything on the road. People think they have a new Dodge Hemi. They are untuchable. Far from the truth. Ive seen V-10s blow there doors off. But V-10 doesn't sound as nice as hemi. Don't get the idea that if you have ythese certain names your invincible. Hemi the most overated engine on the market today. Makes
for a good marketing ploy for dodge. Just my thoughts Thanks
