240-302 swap
howdy,
i have a 1970 f-100 with a 240 inline 6 and a three speed standard tranny. will the 240 bellhousing bolt up to the 302 or do i have to change it. can i use my same clutch and flywheel (because there both new and h-d)

The 240 bellhousing will bolt right up to the 302 with no problems.
I'm not certain on the clutch, but i know you can't use the flywheel because the 240 is a 0 balanced motor, while the 302 depending on year, 68-82 ish was a 28 oz imbalance, and the 82 and later 5.0 or 302 is 50 oz imbalance, so you will need a new flywheel.
