Tire pressure

I have a 93 F250. My tires are at what the door says to put them at. 50 front and 80 rear I beleive. I never tow or haul anything. Do I need to leave them at this pressure or can I air them down a little for a smoother ride?

You can air your tires down for a smoother ride. With no stuff in the bed, the front tires carry most of the load. Even with the bed of the truck loaded, the front tires don't see much of a load increase, so I'd leave the fronts at 50 psi.

Try running the rear tires at 50 an see if the ride improves.
