Grill Guard Opinions
I'm thinking of buying a grill guard for my '01 Super Duty. Any opinions on a good one? Anybody got one with a built-in step so it's easier to reach the fuel filter? Thanks for any info.

I just ordered a Smittybilt Outland Sport last night.

It's not a full brushguard...more of a bumper guard. I'll post pictures of my installation.

Grill Guard Opinions
There is only one OPTION it is made by RoadArmor.
This guard is the most outragious guard available!!
Road Armor is making a guard that will bolt directly to the Factory bumper. The usual offering includes a bumper. I spoke to the owner (LARRY) A very nice guy and a 4x4 expert, he agreed to custom make this guard for me to use with my factory bumper. This guard looks like the full guard for a Hummer.
If you see it you will agree there is no substitute. Danny and Larry agreed that if you mentioned my name they would consider making additional guards for the factory bumper which I felt would be trick and not as expensive (they are not cheap). Also, they will powdercoat this guard to any color so you can color match to your truck.
The neat thing is the "hinged" clamshell that goes over the hood of the truck. You will die when you see this thing. Go to there web page and feel free to call me if you have any questions.
