Tranny Swap Question
I did a search and really didn't find what I needed so....
I have a '96 F-150 with a 6 cyl/ 5 speed. I have been thinking about swaping in an automatic transmission. What tranny would fit and how much trouble would it be? I was thinking I would need a transmission cooler, steering column, linkage and associated other junk like cooler lines, etc.
Would I need anything else or has anyone else done this swap? I would appreciate any info you cold give me.
