depends, How willing are you to cut the fenders? If not 33's will fit w/ ease, 35's will fit but I wouldn't go much more than that w/o a lift or cut fenders.
back in the late 70's my dad had 35x14 gumbo mudders on his stock 75' highboy, they fit stock. Ive seen another one clear 36x12.50's on it just fine, stock. Some people say 38's fit, but I imagine it would require some trimming.
I know this is an old thread but just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I had a 71 Highboy with 35 12.50x16.5, and they fit ok. But when I jumped the truck the rear parts of the fenders hit and bent a little. Was'nt to bad but the paint cracked. They jusy bowed in abought 1.5'' in ward, On the front fender rear side.
