Banks Power
I watched Trucks (the best show on TV) today and he put a Banks power programmer in a new F-250. He said it adds 150 HP and 250+ foot pounds. It then showed him smoking the heck out of the tires. Anyone on here have experience with these things?

It is on the bankspower.com website. Dead-center on their home page in the "Whats New" column. It is called the "Six-Gun Diesel Tuner". Almost enough to make me want to trade my '90 7.3 for a new PSD. Almost, but not enough......

Actually, its not a programmer. Its an external box that plugs into a sensor that remaps fueling. Similar to the Quadzilla, Edge, Torque Force, etc. --- it probably can't get around the issues with transmissions these type of units have in the higher HP range unless they defuel (ie, decrease horsepower) during the shift.
