Runs like crap
When I start up(cold) my 89, it runs like crap, choppy and sounds like a put put. But then I get to walmart and when I get back in and the vehicle has warmed up(I guess) it runs clear as a bell?What gives?
Also I have a duct under the hood that attaches to the air filter that looks like a forced air thing. Can I put on a K&N gen II filter with this thing on??

that is funny as hell, I did the same thing to my bronco 82 fs with 351w. I made 2 duct systems in the radiator area that would catch the air as i drive and it was attached to the air cleaner, didnt do much so i adiosed it. Your question is a good one my beast does the same thing when i start it but it clears up in about 1 minute. Im starting to thing it might be the spart plugs are in need of replacement and the gap might have opened up a little bit.good luck
