My buddy cut fuel lines leading to my engine because he had to pull the engine out. He cut it right after the goofy conector that ford makes that sits just before the injector rail.
My question is, is that repairable? Can A new fitting be put on the line or do I have to replace the entire line? How would I do it? Im a good mechanic but have never had the opportunity to do fuel lines.
he cut the line just behind the connector, is it safe to take the fitting and just cram it back into the line? i need to fix this before the end of the week, and i wana do it right. i heard the plastic is very delicate and i simply dont want it to leak
Its not brittle, I just know that fuel lines are generally delicate to were if they are damaged or improperly installed, they can fail. From what I see the line looks like its in perfectly healthy condition, like a brand new line. However snipped at the end.
thx for the advice guys, just what i wanted to hear.
