I noticed you found another thread. The 97-99 f250 light duty where few in number. It was a "stop-gap" idea for people who wanted a 250 but wanted the new body style. And for the 97 model year only, you could by both the old style 250 in heavy duty or a new style 250 light duty which was rated less than the HD.
Most components are the same as the f150 except for obvious ones like wheels, badging, and some suspension. Look in the light duty forum.
I have the last of the heavy duty series, a 97 powerstroke. I have a hard time finding parts and acc. because I always get the same reply, "they din't make one in 97, that was the new body style" I just gave up and ask for parts for a '96.
