Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to remove my headrest to install my new custom neoprene seatcovers. I was told by the dealer (who came out to my truck & tried) that all I had to do is 'push the button'...and the headrest should slide right out. (I was told the same thing by the seat cover manufacturer.)
A person at the dealership asked one other fellow who said I would probably have to remove the upolshtery (sp?). WHAT??
Just to remove the headrest?
Does anyone know the trick to getting it off?
I probably just missing a little bit of info here..
Just found out how to remove the head rests. A Car Trim outfit said they would charge me between $15 & $50 to remove my headrests. I called WetOkole Hawaii (my seatcover manufacturer) and they were as dismayed as I was with that price. The fellow put me on hold to check the seat....and returned to tell me that there are two buttons on the headrest. One to adjust the headrest and another 'button' on the other post that doesn't look like a button. Whala! Problem solved.
