89 header fit?

I am looking at a set of Edelbrock headers for my truck and I am not sure what they mean when Edelbrock says the headers are with out A.I.R. What does these mean? I have a EGR tube that runs to my exhaust manifold and if these headers fit my truck they must have the correct EGR hook up?

This is from the Edelbrock site.
Bronco; full size 88-96 5.8L F.I. without A.I.R. A,D N/A #6649 #66492

thanks bob

I would assume that means there is no EGR hookup incorporated ("for offroad use only" basically). How much are these headers? Price normally dictates such "options" . You should check out motorhaven.com , truckperformance.com and proficientperformance.com .

I have seen a picture of these headers and they appear to have the EGR tube on them. I will try to call Edelbrock on Monday. I only ask about the headers because the price may be right since they are used. I will check ou the other sites as well.

Without AIR will mean they do not have the air injection tube installed in them. Sometimes the pictures the manufactureres use are kinda generic, so they might have the tube in the pics.

The picture I speak of is of the used headers and the pass. side has a tube on it that looks like it will bolt up to my EGR tube. I am waiting for a better pic of them so I can really see what that tube looks like.

Worse case is if I can get them cheap enough I will just tig weld in a tube of my own for the EGR tube. Does the tube only come off of the front header tube which would be the #1 cyl.?

These headers probably have the EGR bung you need, but do not have a provision for the air injection ports in the exhaust manifold runners like the factory cast iron ones used on some of the F250/350. I don't believe the F150 and Bronco used this air injection set-up, rather they have the injection port in the rear of each cylinder head that has internal passages to the exhaust ports.
