I bought a sheet of gasket material made by Mr. Gasket and carved out individual ones myself. It worked great.

I had the same trouble on my 74 F250 High boy with headers and the stock gaskets. I went with the Felpro gaskets and they covered the flanges and sealed them up tight so far- little over a year of use. Good luck Greg NE

Try calling Byson Gaskets in Corona Ca. Here is the the link.

http://www.byson.com/diecut.html

Ask for Alan or Garr

They make the header gaskets for Doug Thorley and I have never had the first set go bad yet.

I have the orange silicone on my gaskets because my headers didn't bolt up 100% correct and it has lasted at least a year on what I think were just the cheapest available napa header gaskets

I have the flowtech headers and they port match perfectly it seems to the exhaust port to my edel heads and I can't seem to find a header gasket with the same size ports as my heads. That is why I had to make my own. All the gaskets I have seen have huge ports. I would love to find some that would though.

I also have the Edelbrock heads and the Byson gaskets are the only ones that I have ever found that fit perfectly.

I get mine from J&M speed center in Riverside, CA. But you could always go to Byson's website which is posted above and find out who carry's them near you.

Has anyone else ever used Ultra-Copper RTV without gaskets? I have had good luck with it not leaking on the headers for my 302 and when I had headers on my 410. I would clean both surfaces with laquer thinner, and apply the RTV to both surfaces with my finger, wait for 10 minutes, tighten the headders down tight, and not start the engine for a full day to make sure it completely cures. The worse part when using the Ultra Copper is scraping the old crap off if you ever have to remove the headers again.
