I'm having a devil of a time identifying the rear end on my 1977 (302) F100 pickup, and I'd appreciate any help. Here's what I have found on the rear end:
tag on the differential:
3071 D7TA-4001-B2F
1004005 Argentina
numbers cast into diff. housing:
70ZNAT
580
numbers stamped on the axle: 714833
This is driving me crazy - I need to do some work on this rear end, so I need to know what I've got to order the correct parts.
