Diablo Predator
Is there somewhere for a PSD newbie to find what the "real time diagnostics" mean. I have my exhaust & pillar gauges on order ( I know I shouldn't use the prog yet!) and I would like to know boost and EGT's using this data, if I only knew what they all meant. I can't seem to find any documentation on this, and the manual is not even close to any help!

The Ford computer provides two major types of codes: OBD2 style codes and live sensor data. OBD2 codes are read when the engine is turned off. Live sensor data provides information about what the various sensors are doing while driving, plus the outputs as well such as fuel. EGTs (exhaust gas temps) cannot be read because the stock Ford computer does not have an EGT sensor.

Thanks, that's kind of what I thought about the sensor, but where can I find out what all the other abreviations/accronyms are? Or to I have to be a mechanic to make sense of them anyway?

http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?r= for an original Ford manual that will have all the codes listed and a ton of other information about the truck. There are also a bunch of books containing OBD code information but I don't know of any that are specific to the Power Stroke except the Ford manuals. If you post your codes in the Power Stroke section of the forums either I or another user will tell you what it means.
