From what I understand, she still faces a civil trial. Her troubles aren't over with yet!

it seems that the jury based its decision on facts that was presented, and the lack of a defense, and given the fact that it was a jury trial, justice was served. CEO's beware you will be held accountable.

One of Martha's juror's was quoted as saying that the verdict was "a victory for the little man." That doesn't sound like an impartial juror to me. Juror's aren't supposed to take sides. Martha's biggest crime was being the woman that everyone loves to hate and now she's being punished for it.

That's something I hear often. If this were a male, he would have our admiration for having high standards, and expecting those around him to rise up to his level, and he would never fail to chastise and goad someone when that standard wasn't met. Instead we refer to her with the "b" word.

She isn't by the way. Martha and I have had a fling going for a number of years. She's a sweetheart. It's a good thing.

She has looks, brains, ability and money. There isn't a lot of that combination around, so those who detract from your taste will be the same who are happy the government pounded her, the large collection of jealous, money poor, losers.

And I have a Ford truck that she adds special touches to. She sits next to me when we go cruising the back roads. Me and her...yeah.

I agree with jpsartre and the others who believe she was made an example of due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and having too high of a profile.

She didn't get convicted of any misdoings re: stock trading. Let's face it, the whole stock market and short term investing is based on backroom whispers, tips, and educated guesses. You'd have to prosecute every day trader and stock holder in the world if what she did was crime.

She made a couple dumb moves in trying to avoid the millions she knew a criminal charge would bring. In the end it blew up in her face. They weren't even so much outright lies as half truths (a subtle distinction, but one which I would classify as relevent). The FBI put excessive amounts of taxpayer money into going after a paper tiger, and in the end, they hurt everyone they were trying to protect far more severely than anything Martha could have done.

Jail time is nothing, Martha stands to lose everything once the vultures are done with her in civil courts.

I know you are smarter than that.
I'll bet if she does do any time it will be very easy time. If I was convicted of anything, I would be in the "yard" looking over my shoulder because I'm afraid I'll get shanked by 8 ball.

Hopefully her advisors have adequate assets behind trusts. With our litigious society, only a fool or someone with nothing to lose would leave everything exposed.

Wrong. She's a liar, so that obviously makes her a Democrat.

Here's her political contribution list. Read it and weep:

Notice the contribution to Hillary, geez. She really must be a pathological liar. Birds of a feather, you know.
