Traxxis- hey at least you can do more than your own weight. start taking protien shakes. youll put on some solid weight quick. your body should get 1 gram of protien per pound of body weight ( minimum) every day. but take it in intervals, dont just slam 120 pounds of protien for breakfast and think its ok. also eat plenty of foods with protien

i see guys at the gym, who look like they are better built / shape than im in, and they struggle to bench press 160 pounds. i mean STRUGGLE! and they can hardly curl any weight.

ive created a monster within myself... the drive to keep going farther and farther is almost unbareable... but i know- that i better take the next couple days off or i might suffer the consiquences.

Ya, I do the protien shakes now and then, and havent ever really done the creatine. What do you guys suggest? I would be happy just to gain some weight. Maybe 20lbs, lol, but I cant, doesnt matter how much I work out. And I eat like crazy, and not just junk food, but real food. Who knows...

Traxxis, ive got the same problem with the weight.

i use creatine, like a bottle maybe once every six months. dont use it, get "glutimine" i dont know how to spell it, it sounds like "glue-ta-meen" its way better for you. although creatine will help you put on weight fast, its just water weight. usually goes away after you quit taking it.

um, i was thinking about your bench pressing method. try not to do SO many reps at the same weight. go up 5-10 pounds per set if possible. less reps at more weight helps you "bulk up" more reps at less weight just tones your muscle.

also try doing other excercises. check out my post "i cant walk!"
i think the system i use on that post is working pretty well.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Goals are what we all need.

Strength is only part of the game. Powerlifters are incredibly strong, but have no shape to their bodies. Most serious BBers will use a weight that allows them 6-10 reps with PROPER form. When I do a rep, if I can't physically feel the muscle contract, I have too much weight. It's the mind/muscle link that is important.

I have never lifted weights before in my life. All I know is that I can pick up a 120lb. tractor weight in each hand and lift them up enough to put them on the tractor weight bracket.

yeah me neither (lifting a set amount anyway) i know I can chuck a 130lb package off the cart and onto the belt, and that builds up some mean shoulders. I don't have time to lift anyway, working 50 hours a week is enough.

I do have a one month trial membership at the gym that I've had for 3 years, I just never have had the chance to go.

we had a 180 lb piece of coupling for a hydraulic setup the other day (I work at UPS) that was insane, it was for a Caterpillar tractor, nothing to grab onto and it had gotten cold enough that condensation built up on it, and it was slicker N' deer guts.
