I have a v-10 and I am looking for the loudest cat back exhasut I can get.I looked at the Flowmaster force-II and gibson's extreme duals. What does anyone recomend
i would recomend flowmaster. the series number represents how loud it is. 70 is the mellowist but has i nice deep tone, then as you go lower in the numbers it gets louder. 50 series would prob sound good on the truck. check out their web site, it has the sounds of them on there.

I have a 30 Series. That doesn't mean that its louder than a 40 Series. Does it?
well, i guess i shouldnt have said louder. the 40 series is actually more aggressive then the 30, but after that the 50,60,70 gets less aggressive as you go up.
Louder is Ok w/ me. It just doesn't seem to hold true for the 30 Series. But I like it. Sorry, didn't mean that you were totaly off base. Nobody I know w/ a SD ever considers the 30 Series anyways!
After speaking with the tech at Flowmaster, he said he would not run anything other than a 70, and maybe a 50. That was his personal preference. He said to open makes them sound like a sports car since the V10 fires differently from a V8. It all boils down to what you like. They did not have any sound bites on their site as of last week for a V10, but after hearing my uncles with a 70 on it, it sounded just like I want, low and deep during throttle, and quiet all the other times. Always a hard decision when you can't hear before you buy most the time.
