Lightbulb EGR Valve

Can someone tell me what I have to do to change to a non EGR Valve Intake Manifold. I have a 1977 F100 302 W/EGR Valve I purchased off E-bay a stock alum hi-rise and an old Holley. I'm thinking just bolt it on but am seeking advice from someone who has done this before.

Only thing I know to tell you is, get a couple of SMOG PORT PLUGS from any autoparts store or the dealer for a couple of bucks. When you remove the crossover pipe in that connects the back of the heads, you use these to plug the heads. Plug everything that your unsure of, so you avoid a vacuum leak, and slap that sucker on. You might have a tube running down to your exhaust so you may need to plug that as well. Good luck

I don't think a 77 has the ports at the bacvk of the heads the exhaust goes through the manifold and there is no problem changing them although if you can get the gasj\kets with the steel pieces that block the openings in the centre of the heads on the intake side that would help keep heat away from your carb.
