Knock knock...
Hello all!
I got a little problem over here. You see what happened here , I was towing my (my wifes) 24 foot trailer yesterday with my `92 F150 ,302 , E4OD , 3.55 rears , and while in a strong headwind , I could barely break 50mph without the engine knocking like .. wow. I wasn`t towing in overdrive , and did not have this problem last year. The engine knocks slightly from time to time , but it usually goes away.
I use 91 octane gas , and was wondering if there is a way to adjust the timing , or where is the knock sensor?

How many miles on that truck? Could be carbon in the combustion chambers. Running higher than required octane gas will result in faster carbon buildup because it burns more slowly, resulting in incomplete combustion. Do a search on carbon here, you'll find lots of info.
