Build Date Changed again

My truck, scheduled to be built week of 03/1 has now been moved to week of March 22. Looks like rumor of seat shortages for captains chairs may be true. Anyone confirm !

I am looking at 10 weeks now, this is the longest I have waited for any vehicle to be built. It better be worth the wait !!!

I am sure it will be worth the wait sprintcarcrazy. But it is still tough waiting though. I have not been waiting as long as you have and I find it tough.

I live in Canada. I am not sure if there are any delays here. Has any one from Canada had to wait longer than 8 weeks?

Same here was scheduled for Week of March 8th the Week of March 15th now Scheduled for Week of March 22.

I do not have the Captain's chairs!!

I just called my dealer, who called Ford and then got back to me. My truck (Lariat w/tan leather captains chairs) is now built. They started it on the 29th of Feb. Should be here in 7-8 days. Not sure what assembly line made it, I have been reassured that the truck will have seats.

captains chairs are identical to the 40/20/40 bench except you're paying $545 for a bigger console and shifter over the combo center seat /smaller console. I ordered a Lariat Screw Feb 24 and they gave a build date of March 15 already, I was shocked. Dont know what could be the big holdup on yours?

My dealer contacted me last night and indicated that my order (2/13/04) for my bright red Lariat has been pushed out due too it being a two-tone. But went on to add if I wanted it all Red it could be built sooner. He contacted a few minutes later and stated that a solid bright red Lariat was not possible. I also did order it with captain chairs, when I asked him about that, he stated that he had not heard about that being an issue. So the wait continues.

I have the leather heated full power captains chairs on my Lariat and they already give a build date 3 weeks after the order. Yeah, there is less than a handful of colors available monotone on Lariat, white, black, Az beige off hand,
